This role includes:

• Exploring new business opportunities
• Account management: finding new customers and building up long term relationships with them;
• Face-to-face interaction with customers;
• Negotiating on rates, both on the sell side as well as the buy side;
• Frequent coordination with our customer service colleagues.

The ideal candidate::

• Has a minimum of three years of experience as inside sales in the freight forwarding industry;
• Experience in or knowledge of the ocean freight and/or air freight business;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• Has an assertive and pro-active attitude, with a high sense of responsibility;
• Enthusiasm and ambition to contribute to the company growth;
• Can manage well under pressure;
• Can operate independently and be a good team player at the same time.
