Air freight market overview

Air cargo demand surged in October, marking eight consecutive months of growth and setting a new record high. Strong performance on Europe–Asia and intra-Asia lanes, driven by tech and e-commerce, offset weakness on Transpacific routes. Despite this momentum, global spot rates fell 3% while capacity grew 5%, continuing to outpace demand and maintain downward pressure on pricing.
