Strategic acquisition strengthens NTG and LGT’s position in furniture logistics

NTG Nordic Transport Group A/S and its subsidiary LGT Logistics A/S are pleased to announce the successful closing of the acquisition of Thortrans’ activities.

Thortrans’ strong brand and expertise perfectly align with LGT’s offering, elevating its furniture logistics capabilities and further strengthening LGT’s position in Denmark and Scandinavia. NTG and LGT are excited about the growth opportunities this acquisition brings, particularly in expanding the kitchen service platform.

This acquisition represents another milestone in NTG’s journey toward becoming a leading provider of logistics solutions. Together with recent strategic acquisitions, it positions NTG and LGT to deliver even greater value to customers across the market. The acquisition is expected to contribute approximately DKK 120 million in annual revenue.
