NTG expands UK presence with strategic acquisitions in Wolverhampton, elevating British and Irish market services.

Acquisition agreement of EDS and Rolls Freight
NTG Ebrex UK Ltd, a subsidiary of NTG Nordic Transport Group A/S, has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in the UK-based EDS Worldwide Limited and Rolls Freight Limited. Founded in 1978 and 2002, respectively, EDS and Rolls Freight are Wolverhampton-based freight forwarding companies owned by the same shareholders. Operating from a strategically located distribution hub, they specialise in customised land transport solutions with a strong focus on the Irish market.

Strategic market expansion in the UK and Ireland
The acquisition of EDS and Rolls Freight will bolster NTG’s European road freight and UK domestic freight forwarding services, elevating offerings for both existing and new customers. Additionally, it will expand NTG’s presence in the Irish market, which is one of the UK’s largest import and export hubs.

Leadership continuity to secure a smooth integration
Emma Pegg and David Keith Coley-Fisher, the current managing directors and selling shareholders of EDS and Rolls Freight, will remain in key leadership roles within the combined set-up. Additionally, they will reinvest in NTG Ebrex UK, aligning with NTG’s Ring-the-Bell partnership model. The signing and closing of the transaction occurred today, 31. March 2025.
