Network Engineer – Group IT

We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our Global IT Operations team and help strengthen and scale our connectivity capabilities across a international organization.

About the role

As a Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and operate network solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for business-critical services.

You will work across the full spectrum of network operations - from day-to-day stability and incident handling to designing and implementing modern connectivity solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability and quickly restoring services when issues arise.

At the same time, you will contribute to strengthening our network security posture, driving continuous improvements, and helping define how we work with connectivity going forward.

You will join a Connectivity team based in Hvidovre, working as part of a global IT organization with a strong focus on standardising and maturing network infrastructure across locations and platforms.

Your key responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure across entities, data centres, and cloud platforms
• Ensuring secure, resilient, and high-performing connectivity across hybrid environments
• Managing and optimising cloud networking (primarily Microsoft Azure)
• Implementing and maintaining secure access solutions
• Configuring and managing network security components, including firewalls and web application firewalls
• Supporting and developing SD-WAN and enterprise networking solutions (e.g. Cisco Meraki)
• Troubleshooting complex network and connectivity issues and ensuring high availability

You combine technical expertise with a proactive mindset. You take ownership of your work, follow through on commitments, and contribute positively to team collaboration. At the same time, you are able to work independently on projects and drive tasks forward when needed.

You thrive in a role that combines operations and development - handling incidents calmly and efficiently, while continuously improving the network to ensure long-term stability and performance.

You understand the importance of security in today’s IT landscape and naturally incorporate best practices into your work and you bring a structured and pragmatic approach, balancing standardisation and governance with flexibility and business needs.

You are fluent in English and Danish is considered an advantage.
