As Legal Counsel, you’ll be a key sparring partner for colleagues across the entire organisation - from management to commercial teams and local decision‑makers.

You’ll join a strong in‑house legal team of 10 based at our Hvidovre headquarters, working side by side with colleagues who value professionalism, clear dialogue and practical solutions, and who genuinely support one another in delivering high‑quality legal work.

Your role

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating international commercial and logistics contracts
• Advising on Danish and international transportation & shipping law
• Managing claims and disputes, including oversight of external counsel
• Supporting the business on commercial, corporate, and IP-related questions
• Strengthening NTG’s legal “toolkit”: standard contracts, templates, processes, and training

Your legal DNA

You bring more than legal insight - you bring the ability to navigate contracts, stakeholders and cross‑border matters with a steady and structured approach.

Your background is likely a cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur. – supported by a few years of experience from a law firm or an in‑house role, where you’ve developed a solid understanding of international contracts and perhaps built an interest in transportation law.

You communicate clearly in both Danish and English and understand how to balance legal precision with commercial considerations. Your working style is structured and dependable, and you deliver high‑quality output without losing sight of practical solutions. You collaborate well across functions and countries, yet you are fully capable of taking independent ownership of your tasks.

You approach your work with curiosity and professionalism, and you are comfortable clarifying business objectives before advising on the best legal path forward.
