As Head of IT Operations at NTG, you will have the overall responsibility for ensuring a stable, modern, and scalable IT infrastructure that supports the business across 82 entities in Europe and the rest of the world.

About the role

You will become a key figure in driving the technical operations, optimizing the system landscape, and ensuring that our digital foundation can keep up with an organization in constant movement. The role requires technical overview, strategic understanding, and the ability to translate business needs into reliable operational solutions.

In the role, you will be a driving force in Group IT and have responsibility for three central areas within IT Operations:

• Hybrid Infrastructure and Operations, which covers data centers, cloud platforms, servers, and core applications
• Modern Workplace, which includes Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and devices
• Network and Connectivity, which includes LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless networks, and secure connection

You will be responsible for shaping the structure, maturity, and delivery model in IT Operations and will become a central sparring partner for NTG’s CIO, CISO, and the rest of the IT management.

Your areas of responsibility

• Drive the strategic direction for IT Operations in close collaboration with the CIO and Group IT management
• Ensure stable, scalable, and secure IT platforms across NTG’s companies
• Develop and implement roadmaps for Hybrid Infrastructure, Modern Workplace, and Network and Connectivity
• Drive standardization, automation, and modernization of IT operations
• Ensure effective management of budgets, licenses, investments, and cloud consumption (FinOps)
• Implement ITSM processes within Incident, Problem, Change, and IT Continuity
• Lead the integration of new companies and ensure structured IT onboarding
• Develop and motivate the team through clear leadership, sparring, and competence development

About you

You have led IT operations in a complex and international organization, where you have managed teams and driven strategic development with clarity and presence. You thrive on creating structure and progress in a technical landscape that is constantly evolving, and you know that strong results arise when people have clear frameworks and room to take responsibility.

Your experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 is solid, and you work in a structured way with governance, license management, and the platform’s possibilities. ITSM processes and hybrid cloud operations are a natural part of your everyday work, and you understand how security standards such as ISO 27001 and CIS Controls are translated into practice.

You have previously been responsible for budgets, FinOps, and vendor management and work analytically to create overview and efficient use of resources. You are also able to motivate specialists and create direction in international environments, where you build bridges between cultures and ensure that collaboration works - both in daily operations and in the strategic lines.

Perhaps you have also been involved in M&A processes and know how to integrate new companies effectively - both technically and organizationally. You communicate effortlessly in Danish and English and have a well-developed ability to translate business needs into technical solutions that create real value.
