Head of FTL team
About the role
We are looking for someone who comes to build, not just to manage.
This is a unique opportunity to develop an FTL business line from scratch within an international logistics company. We already have existing flows and clients, but we need someone who will take ownership and turn it into a structured, scalable operation.
This role is especially relevant for professionals who are currently one step below decision-making roles, but are ready to take more ownership and responsibility.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and develop the FTL business from the ground up;
- Manage full truckload shipments across Europe in a hands-on manner;
- Create operational structure, processes and KPIs;
- Prepare and manage the department budget, track performance;
- Develop relationships with carriers and clients;
- Expand carrier network and ensure capacity;
- Take an active role in recruitment with real decision-making authority;
- Cooperate with other departments to integrate FTL services.
What we expect:
- Proven experience in FTL or freight forwarding;
- Strong end-to-end understanding of operations;
- Ability to run shipments yourself and make decisions;
- Existing carrier or client network is a strong advantage;
- Ownership mindset and willingness to build something new;
- Good English skills;
- Polish language is a strong advantage.

- Not a routine or maintenance role;
- Not a purely managerial position without hands-on work;
- Not for someone looking for a comfort zone.

Salary:
From 2600 € gross/month + performance-based bonus
For candidates with stronger experience and higher competence, the salary can be higher depending on their experience, skill level and the value they bring.
