AR Team Manager

The office in Bulgaria serves as a shared services center where our employees support branches abroad.
The AR Team Manager leads the Accounts Receivable function within the Financial Shared Services Center (FSSC), ensuring timely and accurate management of incoming payments and related customer processes The role focuses on maintaining strong cash flow, minimizing risk, and ensuring accurate financial records, while delivering high service levels to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Invoicing (only intercompany):
- Ensure timely and accurate billing based on contracts or system triggers
Cash Application:
- Oversee correct and prompt matching of customer payments to invoices
- Manage unallocated cash and ensure minimal unapplied transactions
Credit Management:
- Monitor credit limits and customer payment behaviour
Collections:
- Lead dunning processes and follow up on overdue receivables
- Collaborate with business units to resolve payment delays
Dispute Resolution:
- Act as liaison between FSSC and commercial teams to resolve disputes
- Ensure timely resolution and root-cause tracking
Customer Master Data:
- Oversee creation and maintenance of customer master records
- Ensure data accuracy and alignment with internal controls
AR Aging and Reporting:
- Monitor aging balances and support monthly provision calculations
- Deliver AR reporting to Finance Business Partners and leadership
Skills & Experience:
- Solid financial background, ideally with experience in AR, credit, and cash application
- Strong understanding of shared services operations and controls
- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams
- Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Navision, Oracle)
