Senior Finance Business Partner
Ready to step into a role where your financial insights will shape decisions at the highest level?
We are building a dedicated Business Finance function and are looking for a high-calibre Business Finance profile to take a senior role. This is a commercial finance position focused on budgeting and forecasting, financial performance follow-up, decision support, and driving financial transparency across a decentralised organisation.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, including Executive Management, and play a key role in shaping how we understand and manage performance.
What we offer
You’ll step into a high-impact role with direct exposure to Executive Management, where your work genuinely influences decisions and direction. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and build a Business Finance function from the ground up - giving you real ownership and the chance to leave your mark.
This is a role with a clear commercial mandate, where the focus is on driving the business forward -not just reporting on it. You can expect a steep learning curve in a dynamic, acquisitive environment, along with end-to-end ownership of analyses and performance insights that truly matter.
Your key responsibilities:
- Act as a financial business partner to divisional management on financial performance, profitability, and key drivers
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and run-rate analysis across divisions and entities and drive improved budgeting/forecasting accuracy
- Drive monthly performance reviews, including variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior year
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making and scenario analysis
- Support guidance and Board/Audit Committee materials with clear, insight-driven narratives
- Identify and track commercial initiatives and performance levers (pricing, volume, cost base)
- Improve data transparency and consistency across systems, e.g. ERP, operational systems (e.g. Transport Management Systems), and BI
- Challenge the business and ensure accountability on performance and delivery
What we’re looking for
You bring 5+ years of experience from a Business Finance role and a strong financial and analytical toolkit to match. You don’t just understand how a P&L works - you understand what moves it, what matters, and where to act. You’ve likely worked across multiple entities in an international setup, and you’re comfortable navigating different perspectives, stakeholders, and ways of operating.
You’re at your best in a decentralised, fast-moving environment. Structure isn’t always given - but that doesn’t slow you down. You bring it yourself, cutting through complexity, creating clarity, and keeping things moving.
You’re confident in working with senior stakeholders and know how to engage, support, and challenge them in a constructive way. At the same time, you bring a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a proven ability to drive business improvements and tackle complex problems head-on.
On the technical side, you’re tech-savvy with strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting tools, Excel, and Power BI - and if you’ve worked with Power Query, Power Automate, or other RPA tools, that’s definitely a plus.
You communicate confidently in English and feel at ease working in an international environment where collaboration across cultures is part of the everyday.
Why this role
If you come from advisory, FP&A, business partnering or a similar finance role, and want to move closer to the business, this role offers a strong step into true Business Finance - focused on driving decisions, not just reporting numbers.
