Student assistant in Security Operations
Are you studying cybersecurity and eager to gain hands-on experience in a real Security Operations Center (SOC)? Do you want to work with detection, response, and end-to-end security tasks in a global logistics company? NTG is opening a student assistant position that offers the opportunity to gain industry experience and apply your academic competencies in a practical setting.
We’re looking for a student assistant who’s curious, motivated, and ready to contribute to one or more of our cybersecurity domains. The position is part-time (approx. 15 hours/week) with flexibility around your studies.
At a minimum, applicants must have commenced their bachelor's studies, such as a BSc in Cyber Technology or a BSc in Software Development Examples of areas we work with.
You’ll get to explore and contribute to areas like:
Detection & response (MDR/XDR, SIEM)
Custom detection rules, automation (Logic Apps), Secure Score, and threat mitigation.
Email & messaging security
Phishing simulations, threat policy tuning, DMARC setup, and user support.
Network security
DNS filtering, SASE/ZTNA implementation, and secure hybrid network design.
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Role-based access control, PIM/PAM, Microsoft Entra ID, and entitlement management.
Data protection & compliance
DLP, insider risk workflows, and Microsoft Purview maturity.
