Talent Acquisition Coordinator
So, what does one get if you cross a hawk and an octopus?
Yes, YOU!
… okay, admitted, riddles may not be our strongest suit, but we would still very much like you to join our team as our new Talent Acquisition Coordinator for the next year.
And also, let us keep it real, ChatGPT suggested “Dragonflies” as an animal with a sharp focus, so give me some credit for at least picking the Hawk.
Back to the role, we would love for you to take on:
- Talent Acquisition (yes, the role name gave it away). We need you to help our managers with everything from JD development, to screening, to interviews.
- Scouting/sourcing – this is where the hawk eyes come in handy. With your sharp focus, you find us the best talent in town (or sky).
- Coordination, this is where your inner octopus really shines.
You can juggle calendar coordination, a slightly chaotic to-do-list and being the glue that keeps the team moving.
How would the week look for you as a hawk-octopus?
Well, you will spend most of your week hunting great candidates - some days you’ll screen applicants, and other days you’ll find your inner stalker quietly browsing profiles to spot the right talent. Think three days a week fully immersed in recruitment support: sourcing, screening, scheduling, keeping hiring managers politely on track, and helping us make the candidate experience a little brighter.
The other two days you’ll switch hats and help us coordinate activities across our People & Culture universe. We have a new system on the way (yay indeed), and you’ll play a part in helping us get it off the ground, organized, and running smoothly. One day you’ll help us structure onboarding steps, and the next you might find the marketing and internal communication team turning their chairs toward you to pick your brain on something. When that happens, you just nod confidently, pretend your graphic skills aren’t as questionable as the rest of ours, and throw in a good idea anyway.
Will you have a day where those two areas don’t overlap at all? Probably not - but that’s the fun part of it.
Well, let’s talk about you first: Recruitment isn’t new territory for you - maybe you tried it out as a student assistant - and you know your way around both screening and active search. You can be fresh from your studies, or you can have a few years of experience. Either way, you bring energy, are fast-paced and you love coordination so much that the childhood-you would line up your toys just for the satisfaction of it.
Us on the other hand: If I were to describe your fellow future colleagues as animals as well, then I would combine dolphin-cheetah-unicorns. They are smart as hell, so fun that they will make you laugh every day, high-paced and truly unique.
Will they be the brightest part of your day? Yes. Will they have questionable music taste? Also yes. Don’t worry. I’ll take care of selecting our daily playlists!
