Idea and vision

RTC is Denmark’s leading company in service logistics to end customers – i.e., where more than just delivery of a shipment to a customer is performed.

Our core competencies lie in performing value-creating services at the end customer in connection with the delivery, such as assembly of furniture, installation of appliances, or setting up televisions.

We are innovative and are happy to develop new types of services together with our customers.

History

RTC Transport A/S is a privately owned company, established in 2006 by Expert Danmark A/S. In 2010, the current management bought the company out of the Expert group.

Our core competence is to develop unique logistics solutions targeted at the retail industry’s delivery to end customers. This includes both the information flow and the physical goods flow from start to finish.

An important parameter in our solutions is to ensure that the end customer is not caught between RTC and the retailer.

Gazelle awards

RTC has been named a Gazelle company in 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2020. The award is given annually by Børsen and is awarded to the fastest-growing companies in Denmark.

We are very proud of these awards, which we would not have received without a huge effort from all employees at RTC.

POWER
RTC has been collaborating with POWER (formerly Punkt1 and Expert chains) since 2006. RTC and POWER have developed and continue to develop the most efficient product and order flow possible. When customers in POWER stores or on POWER.DK want to have their product delivered/installed, they can choose the day and time window for delivery themselves.

Bolia.com
Bolia.com and RTC have been collaborating since 2017. RTC performs service deliveries to Bolia.com’s customers throughout Denmark. RTC handles the entire data and goods flow from the goods being shipped from central warehouses to being service delivered to the customer.

GRAM and RTC have been collaborating since 2017. RTC delivers and installs household appliances for GRAM’s business projects throughout Denmark – primarily in connection with new construction and renovation projects of properties.

ILVA
ILVA and RTC have been collaborating since April 2011, when RTC took over a large part of the furniture distribution to private customers for ILVA in Denmark. In 2017, all handling was also taken over, so RTC now handles all handling and distribution of furniture, etc., to private customers in Denmark. ILVA’s customers, both in stores and online, can choose the day and time for delivery themselves. This ensures minimal inconvenience for ILVA’s customers. RTC and ILVA have jointly developed various assembly services so that customers can avoid the hassle of assembling the furniture themselves.

JYSK

JYSK and RTC have been collaborating since December 2016, when RTC took over all furniture distribution to private customers for JYSK in Denmark. JYSK’s customers, both in stores and online, can choose the day and time for delivery themselves. This ensures minimal inconvenience for JYSK’s customers. Due to JYSK’s very advanced warehouse facilities in Uldum and full integration with RTC, the lead time from purchase to delivery can be very short, meaning customers can get their goods quickly.
